VividCortex CEO Receives Entrepreneur of the Year Award

VividCortex, the database monitoring company that helps businesses improve performance, availability, and uptime, today announced that the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council (CBIC) has named Baron Schwartz, VividCortex founder and CEO, “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the 19th Annual CBIC Awards Gala last week.

“It’s a privilege to receive this award,” said Schwartz. “When I founded VividCortex, I chose Charlottesville for our headquarters because of the obvious advantages. We enjoy benefits like great quality of life, a top-quality research university, easy commutes, low cost of living, and a very forward-thinking community and civic leadership in general. The CBIC Awards Gala was held at the Boar’s Head Inn of Charlottesville, VA, on May 18 and hosted guests from over twenty nominated organizations, leaders in business, government, and education. Following dinner and festivities, the Council announced the winners of the Awards’ nine separate categories.
